ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrive in Marrakech and meet guide at airport. Transfer to your hotel. Day 2: Marrakech / Azilal / Happy Valley(ait bougmaz)/Ikiss n'arous (camping) Transfer to the Happy Valley (1900m) early in the morning. stop for picnic lunch in mountain . Continue to the Happy Valley, where we meet up with the local team then walk trought the valley,fields and cross over Arouss village to reach our first campsite at ikiss n'arouss(2350m). Driving 4h30 walking 2h30 Day 3: Ikkiss n-arous / targaddite (camping) Steady climb up to cross Aghouri Pass(3200m) then walk down to reach the plateau of Targaddite at the base of M'goun Mountain (1900m). Walking 5h Day 4: Targaddite / M'goun Peak / oulilimte (camping) Ascend early in the morning before sunrise, to reach the peak (4065m). Beautiful views across the Rose Valley and the Pre-Saharian area. Snack on the peak. Decend the other side of the peak to reach our campsite, passing magnificient pillars of eroded rocks. Walking 9h Day 5: Oulilmte / Ain Aflafal(camping) Walk following the river, passing the changing landscape, that has been gorged out by the river and passing magnificient pillars of eroded rocks. Our campsite is located on the crossroads of many different treks in the area, near to beatifull source. Walking 4h30 Day 6: Ain Aflafal / Tighramt n'ait hamed / Ait imi pass / Happy Valley (gite) Walk up to cross the Ait imi Pass(2900m) and descend into the Happy Valley,stop for lunch next to ait imi source then continue to reach our gite for relax. Opportunity to drink tea with the local people, to experience daily life in this area. Walking 7h Day 7: Happy Valley / Azilal / Marrakech (hotel or riad) short walk in the fresh morning to visit marabot of sidi moussa passing the center of happy valley called "tabante",thenTransfer to Marrakech stop for lunch in Azilal and continue to enjoy fresh air and beautifull waterfalls of ouzoud before continuing to Marrakech. walking 1h30 Driving 4h30 Day 8: Transfer to the airport |
