Following are the details about our incredible 15-day Journey from Casablanca to Marrakech.

Day #1: Casablanca

Welcome to Morocco, please! A welcoming meeting will start your adventure at 6:00 a.m. if you want to visit Casablanca, it is recommended to arrive a day or two earlier. The Hassan II Mosque and the city’s stunning decorative structures are well-known attractions. Seeing the old Medina and the city walls before taxiing to the Quartiers des Habous, the modern Medina is a fantastic way to spend the day.

Day#2: Rabat/Meknes

Take the train for an hour in the morning to Rabat, a historic city with a colorful past that includes Roman towns, pirates, and the Moroccan parliament. With breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, explore the old area, the Kasbah des Oudaias, and the Arab monuments. After that, take a 3-hour train ride to Meknes, an imperial metropolis Sultan Moulay Ismail constructed using more than 25,000 enslaved people to build palaces, walls, and gates.

Day#3: Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

Discover Meknes! See the ancient royal residences Sultan Moulay Ismail built in the city in the 17th century and the Heri es Souani Granary. In Medina, try a camel burger for lunch. Then ride a private minivan to the spectacular ruins of Volubilis, a regional Roman metropolis. After that, make your way to Fes for two nights. Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital, Fes, is home to a beautifully preserved ancient old city.

Day#4: Fes

Discover Fes el Bali, the old city. Explore Medina, a vibrant mix of shops, mosques, and artists. This is one of the largest urban regions without automobiles in the world. Therefore, you will notice donkeys carrying heavy loads. Explore the souk’s specialty sections and enjoy the serene: beauty of buildings like the Funduk Nejjarine and Medersa Bou Inania.

Day#5 Midelt

Take a private minibus for the approximate 5-hour Journey to the serene Middle Atlas Mountains from the city. View stunning natural landscapes like forests and valleys, and interact with roaming farmers. Arrive at Midelt, a little village surrounded by fields and orchards, after traveling by cedar trees where Barbary monkeys reside.

Day# 6: Sahara Camp

In our private minivan, we will travel six hours to the Sahara. Throughout the route, we’ll make stops to take in the scenery of kasbahs and palmeries. Before reaching Merzouga, we’ll travel through various landscapes and stop in places like Erfoud and Rissani. We will leave our luggage here before watching the sunset at the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Our local friends will cook us dinner, and we will spend the night in a desert camp under the stars.

Day#7: Todra Gorge

After eating a traditional breakfast and watching the sun rise from a dune in the Desert, we will move to Todra Gorge. We will drive for around five hours to Todra Valley. The valley contains lovely mud-brick cottages and is surrounded by the Atlas Mountains. We will Spend two nights there, visiting the deserted village. The landscape is amazing, with lush valleys and mountains.

Day#8: Todra Gorge

We recommend taking a guided tour of the neighboring mountain pass and gorge. There are different routes to select from, but the 10-kilometer route is the most popular and takes about 4 hours. You’ll walk the trail with a local guide, which has some ups and downs but is relatively easy if you’re moderately active. The mountains and the well-known Rose Valley serve as scenic landscapes.

Day#9: Ait Benhaddou

Today, travel 4 hours south to Ait Benhaddou. On the picturesque route, you will pass by historic kasbah ruins, former colonial military outposts, bleak mountains, valleys of palm trees, and irrigated farmland. Take a break for lunch in Ouarzazate. After that, continue to Ait Benhaddou, your last destination. This was a significant station for caravans transporting salt over the Sahara centuries ago. Its majestic kasbah, a stunning illustration of clay architecture, is now a recognized World Heritage site.

Day#10: Aromud

After leaving the Sahara, take a five-hour journey over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, 2260 meters above sea level, to Toubkal National Park. You’ll pass through snow-covered mountains and valleys full of flowers. Once you reach Imlil, store your main luggage and take a daypack on a pack mule for a one-hour walk to the mountain village of Aroumd. You can ride a mule if you don’t want to walk.

Day# 11: Essaouira

Take a morning walk in the valleys and trails of the beautiful Atlas Mountains. Then, travel west for about 5 hours to reach Essaouira, an old fishing town on the Atlantic coast where the Medina meets the ocean. Stroll along sandstone paths and admire the white-washed houses against the blue sky and the surrounding beaches and dunes.

Day# 12: Essaouira

Join a local guide for a walking tour of Essaouira’s old Medina, Jewish mellah, port, and skala (sea wall). The narrow streets are great for walking, with no cars. Essaouira is known for its art galleries and unique burled Thuya wood. For lunch, try the fresh seafood at the seaside. Take the chance to relax with a hammam or local-style bath later.

Day#13: Marrakech

Experience the charm of Marrakech on a 3-hour bus ride while chatting with locals. Explore the city’s spice markets, enjoy the sounds of musicians, and feast on delicious foods. Visit Djemaa el-Fna, a famous public space that transforms into a bustling hive of activity at night. Sample Moroccan delicacies at the street food bazaar, savor pastries with fresh orange juice and end the evening with tea at a rooftop restaurant overlooking the square.

Day#14: Marrakech

Explore Marrakech at your own pace by browsing Medina for last-minute shopping. Each souq is devoted to a separate trade like pottery, woodwork, copper, leather, carpets, and spices. Practice your haggling skills, watch skilled artisans perfect their craft, or take a break to sip tea and share tajine. You can also visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the tropical gardens of Jacques Majorelle, Palais Bahia, or the Saadian tombs. End your day by eating at one of the many outdoor restaurants at Djemaa el-Fna.

Day#15: Marrakech

You can leave anytime today as there are no plans. Check-out time is usually midday, but if you want to stay longer, we can help you find a place to stay if there’s room.
