2 Days Trek to Imnane Valley

Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil – Tachedirte

Today we set out today towards the east. We walk up winding mule tracks to the Tizi n’ Tamatert (2279m) to enjoy the amazing panorama of the surrounding Atlas Mountain ranges. We will have our picnic lunch on the Tizi ‘n Tamatert, overlooking Jbel Oukaimeden (3200m) and the beautiful encircled plateau. After lunch we set off following the path down to Imnane Valley. We will spend the night in a local gite.

Day 2: Tachedirte – Ouanskera – Aguersioual – Imlil

You will start day two with an early rise, this is so you wont be climbing under the full intensity of the day-time sun. Breakfast will be served at 5am and the second part of the ascent will start at 5:30am. Along the way there will be another chance to rest and refuel with a refreshment of fruit and nuts. This part of the hike will take around 3-4 hours. Framed with the epic views of the distant mountain villages and the high Atlas peaks. When you reach the summit, the group will rest for around 45 minutes before beginning the decent. The view from the top are magnificent and you will need some time to take it all in. On the decent, we will stop for lunch at the hut and then follow the same route back down to the village of Imlil.
