3 days adventure Agafay desert trek

Adventure Marrakech trip. This is an ideal trek to combine with other treks in the atlas, as well as activities that are locally based like mountain biking, quad and buggies, paragliding, kayaking and jetskiis. We are using camel or donkey support for these treks with additional quad support if required. The backdrop of the high Atlas mountains to the south adds to the vast panoramic vista, especially when it has its winter coat of snow.

[svtimeline][svt-event title=”Marrakech” date=”Day 1″ class=”svt-cd-green” ]Our driver will meet you in marrakech. he will drive you out towards the rocky desert of marrakech known as the agafay desert. There will be some off road driving in the 4×4 before you meet up with the camels that you will be riding to your stony desert camp. The night will be spent at the fixed camp with a delicious dinner and a backdrop of the snow-capped high atlas mountains. [/svt-event][svt-event title=”Trekking” date=”Day 2″ class=”svt-cd-green” ]After breakfast, you will start the trek across the desert with a break to have tea in a small remote village with a local family. Lunch will be picnic style in a shady spot. The plan is to reach the far side and spend the night in a lakeside riad in the village of lalla takerkoust. If you find the day too long or too hot, we can organise a pick up by our driver. The views from this location are outstanding and the inhouse restaurant has excellent traditional and vegetarian food. They also have an indoor pool and hammam. [/svt-event][svt-event title=”Medina tour or adventure minibreak options” date=”Day 3″ class=”svt-cd-green” ]After breakfast at your accommodation, you can return to marrakech where a guide will meet with you for a 4 hour medina tour in marrakech. You can also stay around the lake and take a quad or buggy adventure, go jetskiing or kayaking on the lake, we can organise paragliding jumps, there is also horse riding and camel riding nearby. We also organise mountain biking if you would like to do that for a day or more.  as you can see, there are many options from this location for an adventure packed minibreak. [/svt-event][/svtimeline]
